Akrapovic exhaust & IND black side markers… what a weekends

WOW. Finally had a chance to put on the Akrapovic exhaust - it's absolutely incredible. It's exactly the type of sound I was after. In addition the system looks like a piece of art (I almost didn't want to install it - I just wanted to put it up on my office wall) with the Carbon Fibre tips finishing it off beautifully. It's a shame that nobody will be able to see the finish of the system and how sexy it is. Then I turned the car on and

what a sound - deep, throaty, sophisticated, music to my ears!!! I'm still smiling!!!

Finished the weekend off by installing the side trim in exterior colour - which really brings everything together (black front grill, tints, black wheels, etc.). I love the way it turned out!

Is it hard to remove it?

I'm actually confused as why Akrapovic didn't offer this exhaust with their DP's, might be because of the unbreakable software.

what are you planning to do with your stock exhaust? Is it better to keep the stock exhaust and remount it one day to sell the akrapovic system?

If you have the storage space, keep it. I've always kept my stock exhaust, mostly due to regulations and inspection, but you never know what to expect. Don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning quality, but in case of a sale it might come in handy.

Yes that's the plan! I will be keeping it in storage.

As for sound clips once this stupid wind dies down I will have a sound clip for you guys - right now too much interference with my high tech recording equipment (iPhone lol)… stay tuned…
