Sorry for the very poor photos will put some better ones on soon. First impressions are it drives like a dream and the cabin quality is another level compared to my f31 but it should be I guess. It doesn't feel as quick as I was expecting BUT I think it's because it's so insulated and cosseting when in reality it is. Think it needs to go back to the dealer as there's a slight resonance/vibration when doing motorway speeds. I guess the front wheels need balancing I hope? Anyway very pleased oh and the other thing is the oil temp gets up really fast and stays hot for ages after it's been turned off. This normal? My f31 took forever to get to temp!

Picked mine up and believe it or not the first thing I had is vibration/wobbling at motorway speeds! Got to get it checked but I'm in love with it. It's super quick but I get what you mean about being insulated a little, but overall it's wonderful. No pics yet as I've been driving all day and it's dark now. Will get some up tomorrow. Overall though I'm very impressed. Need to spend some time setting up seating position etc but apart from that it's great and the HUD is amazing, definitely a must have from now on!

Yes HUD is very cool especially with the nav instructions. Glad to hear you like it too what did they diagnose the vibration as?

Sorry didn't read the post properly have you got 20" rims too? Wonder if they are sensitive due to their size?

Nice motor, that combination reminds me of the old e63 stratus grey with beige if you recall that worked really well in my view. You'll find that dash is very addictive with those 3 displays.

Hope you enjoy it

Nice car mate. Get a tune it makes a noticable difference.

Best bit about the 6er is when you get out. I can't not turn back to look at it as walking off. Can't see how the G series will look better. Maybe improve front lights but the arse is perfect in my opinion.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yes it's got a prefect rear end and I can't help but look back once or twice when walking away either. That asd v8 sound is getting addictive although the economy is taking a bit of a hit for it!

it's certainly different to the f30.. The oil temp in mine is up-to half in 3 miles!

They are big but a lovely car

No 640d but the fake sound makes it sound like a v8 in my opinion

Its a V6 sound, get it coded to sound like the M6. I kid you not, the best bit of coding I've had done. Mpg takes a hit though.

It's a v8 sound. Bmw don't make a v6 so I doubt they would try and replicate a engine note they don't make
I quite like my m6 active sound on my 640d
