Siri Voice Command

Hi Guys,

It seems iPhone Siri can be activated by long-pressing the voice command button on the steering wheel. However, I can't seem to be able to get it to work

Has anyone been able to use this feature? Any suggestions?

Car: 650i Coupe 2014
Phone: iPhone 6 - iOS 8.1.1

I use it fairly regularly ('14 640 ix Vert / iPhone 5 / up to date software) I find SIRI gets it right about 1/2 the time. Can be very frustrating.
