Surround view camera problem

so just collected my new 6 series.

I'm used to surround view on my 3 series, so I'm fairly sure this isn't right..

The colour tone of the rear camera is often a kind of purple colour, and flickers, and the left hand camera is kinda grainy/blurry. The right seems ok.

Anyone had similar issues?

The colour contrast is a bit of a known thing, there is a thread on here somewhere about it. I found mine improved slightly but giving the lens a quick clean. Still isn't perfect though, however, it does its job, I can park without hitting anything.

This is a known complaint. It's related to the low quality responsiveness of the camera's aperture setting due to the shade created by the roundel cover. You can see the aperture adjustment in action if you park your butt towards the light (sun), away from the sun, in the shade on a sunny day, etc. You'll see the camera reacts differently. This won't be an "issue" if they mounted the camera outside or unobstructed with a cover.

Both my front bumper cameras were blurry when I bought my 6. Tried cleaning them but after a bit of research found the lens were, what’s known as marbled. Ordered 2 new cameras and surprisingly very easy to install. Calibrated with ista+ to fix the upside down image on one side. Perfect now.
