M6 Coupe Muffler Delete and Resonator Delete
Like the title says im doing a muffler delete and resonator delete today on my M6 coupe. Anyone else do this one there stock M6 coupe exhaust? I am sure about the muffler delete but am slightly hesitant that the resonator delete will not enhance the sound to my exhaust that much and will cause a lot more drone. Can anyone let me know there thoughts if i should get both done or just the muffler delete? Thanks!

I am going to get my resonators deleted. F10 M5 guys say there is no drone at all. Adds a bit more popping and spooling at the high end.
I recently wired open my stock exhaust flappers and the sound is so much better. |

I never had a stock exhaust on my M6 (it had Eisenmann Race when I bought it) so I don't know how the M6 operates exactly but the "flapper" sysem is on my X5M. Brian

please post some clips of the sound. I don't think I've heard the turners muffler delete + resonator delete sound clip anywhere.

Very nice!! I'm wanting the right balance between sounding loud and mean, and still being able to do a 10 hour road trip without getting a headache

Very nice!
I did the Turner Motorsports system and it sounds exactly what I'd expect a car like this to sound. It brings out the M6's character and just sounds mean/exotic/cool. ETA: On default settings, it's just slightly louder than stock. On my M1/M2 or S3, it just rips! |
