BMW Internet Option disappeared

Hi All,

On my 2015 LCI 640d GC , I had the Internet option (which I hardly used). I received a few emails that my service would end and now I be its been entirely removed.

I followed up by email with BMW Uk and received the following response: "Unfortunately the Internet option is no longer available. I'm sorry for any disappointment this has caused."

Anyone else notice the feature disappearing ? I believe BMW are allowing the existing subscription to lapse and not allowing renewal.

Seems a bit odd to remove a feature that was a cost option.

mine just says internet is not available in your country... (australia)

Just had it confirmed that for the UK market, BMW have removed the Internet option as it wasn't proving popular, people were not using it and the performance was slow.

I have been offered £100 to use towards accessories...which I think is reasonable.

So for those in the UK, with the option now lost, go and claim your £100....
