idle-stop or start/stop function

Can this functionality be permanently disabled on the 2013/2014 GC? I test drove a 2013 one recently and wasn't too comfortable with it on. I asked the salesperson but she didn't even know that function existed.

Mine never had an issue with staying off, I just turned it off and it stays off. If that is an issue for you with your car it can be addressed by the service guys at the dealer or through coding, or even remote coding if you have a laptop, wifi, etc.

Ok I just wanted to make sure that it can be done on the 2013 model because I think I read somewhere that it can only be done on 2014+ models.
