Any way to untint my tail lights?

Some guys at the shop were telling me I should try tinting my lights to match the candy apple red on my wheels..I told them I didn't want it to be too dark but it looks like it did end up being too dark..anyway to reverse this with out buying new tail lights?

if its just a regular tint, take it back and they should be able to remove it for just a few bucks, or even replace it with a lighter tint for free if they're good for service. barely any time and negligible material

If they painted the tails you will have issues. If they film tinted it they can be removed, cleaned and reapplied with a lighter tint. First question is, what did they do?

This. If they painted them you can't do anything. Hope it is just window tint on there.

I think they kinda go with the wheels. Not my taste mind you but they do go together.

If paint tint, I heard that lacquer thinner can remove it. Just polish your tail lights afterwards.

if they were painted(usually a little black in clear coat) you just sand the tint off and re-clear.
