Price of low mileage recent model year M6

So apparently the M6 has one of the worst residuals on the market. Similar to 6 figure Mercedes, these cars are typically worth only about $45k within 2 or 3 years, even with low miles. Take this example from the 6 series classifieds:

Priced at $46.9K for a car that was $131K when new and no takers thus far! Car seems to be in good condition with only about 36K miles, MY2013, though there was a weird electrical issue that was repaired along with spark plugs replaced at 20K miles. All done under warranty, and the car appears to be still under warranty, but not for much longer. Maybe I should have gotten one of these vs. a new 340i lol. What do you guys think? I may be helping the poster to sell his car!

That's not a super low price, seems like a normal price and a decent deal. $45k would be better. And it's for sale only a month, some crazy members in Lexus forum sell theirs for 1 year lol

You can get alot of performance cars in upper 40s and low 50s.....with warranties too. I think M3s and M4s are up there, RCF, and even near brand new M2 you can get around 50k

Looks like a low price to me considering it was 130k new. This is why I will always buy used. Let someone else take the hit, wait a couple years and get one low mileage for lots less.

It doesn't matter how much it was, what matters is the average selling price now. Cars deprecate, some more then others. M6 and especially vert is a pretty shitty purchase in my opinion and I wouldn't buy that car even if it was $40k. It's an expensive gt cruiser that's super heavy and with questionable reliability on that 4.4l V8

I would put my money in GranTurismo S coupe.....I think it's night and day difference in what you're buying for the money
