Bmw m performance exhaust

Hi every one, Has anyone ever put Bmw m performance exhaust on m6 GC? Is it the same as akrapovic? I got a m6 GC Shakir orange and as astonishing the car looks, its exhaust tone is quite lame. I'm looking for something with more tone and at the same time civil. Turner sell "competition exhaust" but I have no clue how does it sounds. Your expert opinion is well appreciated.

YES THE NEW GEN M6 STOCK EXHAUST TONE IS EMASCULATING it needs some form of gear head VIAGRA

The BMW M perfo exhaust is the Akra Evo Full titanium exhaust ... with the addition of the BMW M specific tips!

I did the Akra evo with the carbon fibre tips ... it was $1500 Canadain less than the same exhaust with BMW M specific tips from the BMW M perf Bin.

I did my akra evo full titainuim with the supersprint catless down pipes ... the exhaust note is AMAZING/INTOXICATING!!!
Now I wish I saved money on the B&O sound as I never have the sterio on

In my set up the CEL doesn't go on (except occasionally for about 40 km or so .. then after its parked the next few days of driving it stays off) ... most with the supersprint catless have the CEL go on indicating higher emmissions ... if you keep the stock cats, or do the aftermarket downpipes with smaller less restrictive cats you will not have an emmissions issue triggering the CEL. Or if your lucky like a few of us who don't see the CEL light and myself who occasionally sees the CEL on with the supersprint catless AND the Akra Evo full titanuim exhaust, I'd say go catless as the performance is better ... unless you are in an area where there is yearly emmssions monitoring or the CEL light will bug you ... I think it may be a fuel quality issue triggering the CEL

But the turbo spool whistle is much more noticable doing catless with the supersprint down pipes and the akra or BMW M Perf Bin exhaust

My BMW Dealer installed it (akra evo full titanium and supersprint down pipes) and said it was a perfect fit and looked exactly the same as the BMW M perf exhaust less the tips

It is not too loud and is very smooth, classy and has a nice rich exotic note to it! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SOUND!!!

And I drive a 2016 M6 Cabrio! Princess only goes out in public topless .. she is a bit of an exhibitionist

My last M6 Cabrio was the 2007 M6 with the V10 and I did the Eisenamnn sport exhaust and K&N Cold Air Induction ... that was an amazing sound as well ... the new set up with the Akra and Supersprint is much nicer as you hear the turbo spool whistle as well ... very intoxicating.

I think BMW realized the M6 exhaust note sucked and sourced a deal with Akra to fix the problem and have a very nice exhaust avail with a sound respectable for such an amazing car!

It truely sucked that the new Ford Mustang GT had a better stock exhaust note for a much cheeper car in every respect

I would price out both the Akra Evo full titainium with Carbon fibre tips or titainium tips and compare cost with the BMW M perf exhaust.

Either way, I don't think you can go wrong ... that exhaust is amazing!

Only question you need to ponder is howmuch you want to spend and to go catless, less restrictive cats, or keep the stock cats ... and then what other mods you want!

Ask BigBrian as he has done much more to his car and is a WEALTH of knowledge!

Enjoy Bro

Sunny

Eisenmann Sport with 102mm tips looks much nicer and you can get it for around $7000 LESS. it's not a full exhaust, but you will like the sound when you WANT it louder and when you DO NOT
