Dinan D-Tronics for M6
It looks like the Dinan D-Tronics Performance Tuner is now available for all the M6 variants (F06/12/13):

Bluetooth and warranty are pretty cool features. I just don't know if it does more (if any) than a $450 Burger Tune.

I think the gain in torque is rather significant
610 HP, 605 lb-ft of torque. A gain of 50 HP and 105 lb-ft of torque over stock. I'm scheduled to install the D-TRONICS Performance Tuner in a couple of weeks. The gain in torque should add considerable low-end power... |

I'm really disappointed with this Dinan "D-Tronics" (fancy name for piggyback tuner). If they took so long to come up with this and priced it so high, at least it should've been an actual software tune and not something BMS already came up with a year ago for 1/6 the price. |

The real question here is......how much of this power will be usable? Normally, I'm a "more is better" kind of guy. However, will any of this torque actually translate into faster times (at least, 0-60 wise). Rear-wheel drive and over 600lbs of torque? Could be a new definition for "going nowhere fast".
Any guesses on what the numbers (0-60, etc) will be, with this tune? One thing is for sure, brake pads will be worn out even faster, thanks to traction control (which will almost be a necessity ALL of the time). |

Probably not worth the money over other piggybacks but I must admit, I'm curious.

I sold mine. Definitely a difference but not something I was willing to risk my warranty over.

To me the Dinan is a much better move. Keeping the warranty intact is a huge concern for me. Replacing engine parts on these cars would be very expensive with no warranty!

Will Dinan be posting any performance specs on this or will that be up to the early adopters?
