Mojave 650i Gran coupe(need help)
Hey guys looking at a couple used ones, wanna buy through my dealer as I'm lazy and don't want to drive 2000kms just to get a used one. Am I going to be happy with the non msport? Coming from M5 and x6M?
I don't see a lot of body add on for non msport! Does anyone have any pics or anything |

As you might already know, Msport doesn't add anything to the performance. However, I do like how Msport looks for more sportier than non Msport model. I had M6 in mind but went to 650i Gran Coupe xdrive because I wanted AWD. Link below has pictures of non Msport model.

Yeah, I'm looking between m5 and 650 I had an M5 when it first came out but was sick if it sitting all winter. I just wonder if I will be satisfied with the GC power.
There aren't a lot of used cars for sale up here in the great white north and all 2000kms away from where I am. My dealership only has access to a Non msport Mojave GC so I'm trying to talk myself into that one but can't pull the trigger due to the M sport and lack of front lip options. |

There are options for aero with Msport for the 650 GC you just have to search for them. I just went from my Dinan modified 2012 550i w/Msport to a 2014 650ix w/Msport and went through the same. Don't think I could have done the car w/out Msport just the aesthetics do so much more for the car than on the non-msport one. Would have gone to an M6 GC but also as other person stated I strongly leaned to the AWD setup as in previous M cars I've had in winter weather even with proper tires the hp/torque and setup of those cars make them "interesting" to drive in the white stuff! Drove my e92 M3 w/winter tires through a whole East Coast winter and while I got around there was often too much power put down to the rears at times. Good luck with your choice.

I'm stuck in a tough decision. There are two different gran coupes available in Canada that I am interested in
1) alpine white/ivory 650i m sport in Toronto, but it's an American car 2) havanna metallic 650i non msport The Imported car has me worried about resale, I am picking it up for around 75 which is cheaper but also giving me less on my trade in. So they work out to be within $1000 of each other. The Havana is non msport and I don't like the looks I have been searching my ass of for front lips and body add ons but they all seem to be for the msport I found this lip but don't have my info if it will fit on the non msport http://www.ecstuning.com/ES2572256/" rel="ugc" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://www.ecstuning...ES2572256/</a> Sitting in my shoes what would you do? As for Msport vs non-Msport....well you can retrofit an Msport aero package onto the non-Msport car if that is what moves you the most. I chose M-Sport as both the 5 series and 6 series I've seen without it while they have nice lines seem incomplete without it. As for the lip very few folks seem to make a lip for the Non-Msport models I've seen especially when shopping for my 550i about a year ago. Found little non-M sport lips or diffusers.

Yep i bought a 650i Xdrive GC in alpine white on ivory interior, getting windows tinted then fly to Toronto on the 30th to drive it home. Will be going to niagra and Detroit. Looking for opinions on other places to check and see!!
Also thinking about having H&R springs installed but wondering how I will make out in winter. Only lowered car I owned was a 335i dropped on KW's. |

I'm not exactly sure! Not sure I can go through he states now. Looks like my permit will only be good for Canada unless someone knows a way around that haha. Wonder if Michigan DMV will issue a permit to drive though mighigan, Illinois, Wisconsin and North Dakota?

Ontario permit will allow me to drive through the USA, my province permit will not.
As far as Detroit goes my wife has always wanted to go there. We are open to suggestions of what to do! |

The standard place to visit is the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. I would also suggest the Shinola factory in Detroit. Plenty of great places to eat as well.

My wife really wants to check out the old historic buildings in Chicago. A drive around to see these would be amazing!! Any recommendations?

I did a 3d rear diffuser. Really sets off the rear nicely with the M Sport package.
