Back in a BMW after 10 years

Good day everyone,

My name is Ed, and I just came back behind the wheel of a BMW after 10 years since my last BMW. Long story short, had a 335i E92 and later swapped it for an M6 E63 during my time at the states. After coming back home, I shifted into a Porsche Cayman, switch into a Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and into a JCW R56 manual. Somehow I missed BMW, and when I got the chance of getting into one of the best looking BMW ever made, I just knew I had to jump on it. I am now a proud owner of a 640i F06 GC.

I loved the car in standard form, it perfectly blends luxury and performance in my opinion, but I just cannot leave it as it is. I did a full M6 body conversion, M6 big brake kit both front and rear, KW V3 coilovers, Bootmod3 Stage 2 tune, VRSF intercooler, MST intake, Meisterschaft exhaust system, and last but not least my dream wheels HRE S101SC.

The car has transformed into quite a beast, enough for the crappy roads here in my town. Looking forward to more drives and adventures with my baby!

Wow, the stance on that car is fantastic. How is the drive on the coilovers compared to stock? UK roads are all terrible and there are many days I wish I didnt have the 20" wheels on my F13. Adaptive suspension definitely helps.

Thank you! Personally the stock suspension felt a little bit too soft for my liking, as I sometimes drive the car in a spirited way. Mine did not have the adaptive suspension, so it was an easy choice for me to go for a set of coilovers. In my opinion, KW V3 has the best range of settings especially for bumpy roads. I have mine set a little bit firmer than stock, but still very forgiving when it comes face to face with the terrible road here in Indonesia.
