Yabadubbadooo!! Finally joined the M club!!
Got my new M6 Friday and have been grinning ever since. This one has 5,000 miles on it and has every option they could put on it including a wind screen that is still sealed in the plastic and night vision that I can't imagine using. Like buying a brand new car when someone took the big hit up front for driving it 18 months. The B&O system really does sound as good as every one has said. Thanks to a lot of you guys for your help with my questions and just general threads that made me realize that I had to have an M instead of another 6 series. Mods that need to be done right away are the reflector delete and maybe an OEM painted spoiler.

Thanks. It's Space Gray. Thought I wanted silver but when I saw this, it actually looked better than I thought. Still light enough to show off the great lines on the car.

Night Vision looks very James Bondish. Everything is in black and white but reversed. Looks like X-rays. I will have to try to find an application for it or it is a wasted $2900 option. Just found my B&O lighting in the menu/ Pretty cool.

Nice! Hmm, didn't think of getting B&O really until I read your thread. Getting the GC myself, call me weird, but i like the 343 wheels more than the GC 443s, they just look classier! I might end up the only new M6 GC owner with 343s....

The wheels are beautiful and I really don't like many wheels. I was going to put my 21" OEM BMW 128 wheels on but I think it will take away the "M" ness of these great 20's that fit the car perfectly. I may try the 128's to see how they look but I think it may date the car plus the ones I have on there now really show off the blue calipers and slotted rotors.
You will love the B&O. I have heard from many a thread that it is the best stock system anyone has heard. I'd agree. |

Nice Slash.Congrats to you too. How does it compare to the M3?
I don't have anything to compare it to really but this thing is ridiculously fast. I am coming up on cars like they are parked. Took the traction control off by mistake last week and got it sideways by touching the gas. Had to change my underwear. |

haha that's perfect. I looked at a 991 forever but couldn't wrap my head around just a sports car. Ours is the best of both worlds and can be sedate and a cruiser in one minute and a beast in another. Also was in love with he Aston Vantage but it is very tight in the cockpit and the tranny is just terrible. Also the tech in ours is second to none. This is a keeper for a long time. Couple of mods this week to round out my Christmas present to me and a few hundred miles on some fun mountain twisties around here while on vacay.

+1 on everything but the aston(they are just wayy too small)...I also was looking for the porsche but with the cost, ill even out leasing my m6 for 3 years then buying a slightly used turbo s in a couple years. The m6 is just perfect. for everyday for fun for racing, it can do anything but get up my driveway in the snow lol. |
