CLS is 2+2 Four-door Coupe..

How would they extract 580hp out of the same engine as all the S63-power cars? is it just reprogramming or some other trick??
as for the Tri-turbo diesel, I think it'd be, from marketing point, to have first on the 6er Gran Coupe. just saying..

...adjusting turbo boost primarily makes this quite simple with a remap

Honestly, I would be surprised if the M6GC had any different output than M5/M6. If so, it's just a software change. I'm sure that s63 has the capacity to go 750 -800 hp.

I still think the 6GC is going to slot (price-wise) in between the 5 & 6, in order to stay competitive with the CLS. Hence, the M6 would still be the most exp M car and prob get the 580-hp tune, if in fact that is true.

I can only hope you are correct as I was interested in this car until I've heard it was to become the flagship, hence the most power and most costly, as well as the fact that its built on a larger platform, the 5GT vs the 5er/6er platform.
I would also say that we may be mis-reading the target competition, which may very well be the Panamera turbo, and not the CLS, where the M6 GC would be a viable competitor at a competitive price point....
