New 609 Nav for 6 series???

BMW just announced a cool new nav system, but the 6 series is conspicuously absent from the list of cars that will get it (5, 5GT, 7, Active Hybrid 3). The new system is called iDrive Navigation Professional (609). The pricing guide for the 2013 6 series shows a nav system with the same number (609). Is this the new nav or the old one? Also, does anyone know if a simple firmware/software upgrade will get you the new look and new features?

Im nervous... My 650i GC goes into production in September. I haven't found anyone who can definitively say yes or no. Anyone know or know someone at BMW that could answer the question?

Jason just confirmed the 2013 M5 will get it. I guess he will have to wait for BMWNA to give him the anser for the 6series
