M6 Convertible Owners... question regarding compatibility of the coupe trunk spoiler

I have been getting conflicting information regarding the fitment compatibility of the coupe trunk spoilers (both the OEM and the OEM performance version) on our convertibles. Has anyone done this? Any feedback? Did it require any modification to the spoilers? Thanks in advance!

The M-Performance spoiler is listed as F13 and F06 only, I don't know why it would not fit the F12 though.

I replied to your PM. I did it and it fits perfectly, see pictures from my older post. I also had the rear spoiler installed on our Grand Coupe and it too fit perfectly. The part is only listed for the coupe but the vert and GC have the same exact trunk. See pic.
Thanks

The F12 and F13 boot lids are similar, but different part numbers as the F12 uses gas struts and the F13 uses a spring to counter balance the lid. The F06 boot lid does not have the center brake light, but is otherwise similar in shape.
