R.I.P. Vorsteiner Aero Blades
My relationship with Vorsteiner Aero Blades was very short lived. 3 days and then 'crunch time'. Apparently the parking garage exit and Vorsteiner don't get along very well. Sadface.

The front lip is not currently on the car. I received the front lip but returned it because I want to wait for the new version to be finalized. Since this incident I am now re-thinking going with the new version of the front lip. The new front lip has a rim architecture so I am probably asking for disaster.

Oh no, oh man. Sorry to see that man it's gotta suck. Any chance it can be repaired? I'm really considering doing the blades and lip but I want to do them together (don't want to have a lip and no blades or the other way around). Originally I was mostly worried about smashing the lip like I have on other cars but now I'm weary about this too. I didn't realize they peeked so far out.

I took them off the car for now. With the current location of my office I won't ever be able to properly (in the right direction at least) leave the parking garage. I brought this to the building owner's attention via email today so we will see if they fix it or not. I might wind up moving to another location once the office lease is up and then revisit putting them back on the car.
The problem is... If you have your car lowered the aero blades "lower" the rocker panels about another 1" (give or take) and this makes the car super low on the sides. I imagine I could get myself into this mess other places around town as well -- you just have to be super careful with these on your car. Brian

Really sorry to hear this, pal. I know how long you waited and all the issues you've been having, so I can only imagine how much this bummed you out.

Brian, what is it that they hit, a curb, or are they actually so low hanging that they literally touched the road?

I think with this carbon fiber stuff being around the bottom of our already low cars you need to be extremely careful and pay damn close attention to anything and everything that "might" cause a problem. Because like me, once you hit the problem, you are pretty much SOL. Brian

Sorry to see this I have mine on my car for about 8 months and no problem yet but minor marks. I am very careful and all bumps are approached on a extreme angle. I hope you can get them fixed a local body shop might be able to do it.

Not sure what I am going to do with them at this point. Right now they are sitting in my garage leaning up against the wall. I talked to the building owner and he said he would fix the exit so I am waiting to make sure he follows through. I might try to have this one fixed or talk to Vorsteiner about purchasing one blade.
If I don't end up putting them back on I will let you guys know and if someone wants to buy them for a good price I am up for selling them. Brian
