Electronic Parking Brake switch pulled at high speed?

This has been bothering me for some time.

What if someone, lets say for example a playful kid suddenly pulled the
ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH while I'm driving at highway speeds?

Will the wheels just lock up??

cause that can be very dangerous

Pretty sure it's linked to the ABS - if anything were to happen it would just be like standing on the brake.

Garage List
It's designed to bring the car to a controlled stop . not to lock the wheels solid.

It's something I learned about on the car over a year ago, it's actually pretty fun you should try it when you feel the conditions are safe you could do it from 20 miles an hour all the way up to 100 safely. It locks up the rear wheels but you have complete control over the front wheels. I highly suggest you try it because it's very powerful

Remember it's going to take your fear away

I mean I'm sure every system BMW uses is the same. I know that in the dry if you do it from 15-30mph it brings the car to a stop very quickly. Maybe locking them up for a second. But when doing it on rain or snow. It locks!
