DIY Bavsound Ghost underseat Subwoofer Systems Step by Step.

I install the Bavsound Ghost Subwoofer Systems today and it is very easy and it takes about 25 mins each side to install.
Here is a Step by Step guild on how to change.

1. These are the tools that you will need to do the DIY job.

2. Push the seat far back until it stops.
You will need to pull up the middle part of the end cover to unlock it and take off.
Then stick some masking tape on the floor to line up to the 2 seat rails.
This will help you line the seat back up much or easy.
Then Take out the screws of each rails with a T50 Torx.

4. When undone all screws push the seat to the middle of the rails and tilt to the rear.
Then get some kind of item to hold the seat back so it dose not drop.

(This maybe in some cases because my did not come with the gasket) 9. I used a window sealer to seal the air from the Bavsound sub woofer to the OEM casing. you can use any kind of gasket to seal the air.

11. Put the Bavsound Sub woofer into the OEM casing BUT don't screws it in yet.
Plug the cable and turn on the car to test if the woofer is working.
If the sub woofer works, then screw it in tight.
Then put the carpet back into place and screws in the cover.
Then a line the seat back to the masking tap and then push it front to screws the screws back in at the rear 1st, remember to only use hand 1st to put the screws so that you do not cross thread the screws.
Then use a T50 to tighten them down.

OK after installing this I tested it and my feed back on the Bavsound Sub woofer is that it is a big improvement to the Stocks. The Bass is much more solid and now I can feel a little thump on the back of my seat.
So you guys say is it worth it? I would say yes for me and happy with it.
Why I say yes to these. This is because I only need a bit more bass and I don't what loads of it like the boot sub woofers box which use too much space in the boot. I have kids so not need for a night club in the car lol .

Great write-up. Give them a couple of weeks and you'll like the Ghosts even more.

a member said it's recommended to replace the screws per BMW:

Should be 43 nm and the bolts are one time use only and recommended you replace the, once removed. 2.00 each from getbmwparts online..

Here you go courtesy of another member...

According to BMW ISTA/D this is the procedure to remove/ install front seat of BMW F10.
Move front seat rearwards.
Release screws (1).
Installation note:
Replace screws.

Tightening torque 52 10 01AZ.
1AZ Seat to floor panel F01 / F02 / F03 / F04 / F07 / F10 / F11 / F18 M 10 (trilobular) Replace Powerlock screw (self-locking) 43 Nm
This means that once you remove the seat bolts, you can not reuse it. It is powerlock screw, one time use only. Tighten torque is 43 NM.

Part number for the screw is 07149156953, total of 8 for two front seats.

I already order the screws with BMW, less than $2 each.
Need to wait for screws for about a week.

After a few weeks run in the woofer is alive and I am very happy with this set-up.
I can save my boot space after upgrading these subs.
If you only need a bit more bass and much more solid bass these are for you
