Thinking of a M6 or M3 (E models)

So I currently have an E92 (328i), upgraded some stuff to make it move more like the E36 I had, but now I'm thinking about a M6 (E63) or M3 (E92); manual transmission. I would like to keep my 328i, but it doesn't make any financial sense to me to keep it if I get a M6 or M3.

I guess besides an increase in consumption as a daily driver, what do you M6 owners dislike or liked about the engine/maintenence/anything? I would consider the 650i as well. ((Let me know if I should move this thread somewhere else too!))

Previous cars I've had and liked: 350z (Rev-up edition); E36 M3; E30; Toyota Supra TT 95' (Temporary car when cousin was away; otherwise I would have still had it)

You may want to post this in the F13 forum.

Basically it will be a huge step up in power/delivery as well as the interior appointments.
