There's a S63 AMG in my building. Although I think its very beautiful, I think for nearly 200k I would definitely get the lambo.

MB Laguna hills had a S63 coupe sitting in show room last month and I sat in the car... It's totally different car... Pure luxury car with sporty accent... It's much bigger and heavier than M6 Coupe.

No don't say "meh" ... I used to own 2007 Acura TL Type-S and I drove it for 4 years... trust me that car was fantastic. Still I miss her

You're right you're right, had I not seen the emblem- I would have been wet over the car.

I did read up the car and driver on it and it's definitely something I will consider in 2 years after this next M6.

No question the M and S series are different experiences aiming for different things. But having driven both the Mercedes coupe and sedan, the S class coupe is a completely different feeling than the sedan. Try it, you will be surprised.

Still I believe M6 is the best choice at her price point... I prefer to not get another M6 and fill the 3 years gap with another car till next generation of M6, but I'm afraid of missing the feeling of performance and luxurious of M6 if I switch to any car...

We're in the same boat, except that at the end of my lease, the next gen M6 should be available. It may be premature, but I would imagine that a significant weight loss program would be in the works. Of the options listed, the M6 is a "logical" choice at that junction of price and practicality.

I listed the NA Ferrari as an option, but it would be a low mileage 458 Speciale for weekends and date nights.

Again...first world problems.

Yeah you are right; however there might be a short gap between the time your lease will end and the time M6 will arrive in US. I have a feeling that the next generation of M6, will not arrive in US sooner than summer 2018 as 2019 model and agree that M6 is a "logical" choice at it's price point.
According to NA 458, as you said it should be an option for weekend, but not as a DD car... I visited Ferrari Newport the other day and was talking to their sales manager. He confirmed nobody drive Ferrari 10-12k per year...It was interesting that you can lease a second hand 458 for 5 years... At the time I was there, he was introducing the lease program of a 2012 458 with 230k price tag on it for ~$2700 per month for 5 years and 25k down payment!

Not sure about the current S550 Coupe, but back in summer 2011 I test drove both CL550 and CL63 AMG and I felt exactly what you say. CL63 AMG was much better but nothing even close to M6. The big issue I have with MB is the luxurious and comfort feeling especially the steering wheel. Also, no matter how sporty that car is named (AMG), still you feel too old behind the wheel. Hopefully the AMG GTS is different...

Well in the world of Bugatti, Agera, Pagani, Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche (918), ... I don't believe M6 is a super car, but for sure it's a high performance sport car with luxurious accent. I really hope BMW introduces a super car soon... maybe M8??
