Were you looking to lower your GC?

I'm sure a/m guys like Hamann make a set of coilovers that'll do the trick.

Coilovers won't work if you have active suspension AC Schnitser has springs. Ordered a set for my 640i GC (well husband did) Lowers the car 30mm or a little over an inch. Will install when my Modulare B18 brushed 20x9 front 20x10.5 rears come in.

dont think i have the active suspension, but its adjustable from inside the car.

I have 22s on my car, so dont want to do the 1" drop. Do you know of any others?

How much and where did you order the AC springs from?

+1 on the AC Schnitzer.

Had them in my 2012 F10 535Xi...perfect drop.

They're available for the Gran Coupe and I'll be going with a set for my 650i GC.

You can get them from the ACS distributor for the US. ECE wheels, ecewheels.com

I think a set goes for around $750.

Do you believe the car would rub with 22s on the AC springs?

Thanks, that's one sexy looking car.

Does the car ride much harder with the ACS springs?

I'll check with Germany but I should think so. Our Type VIII Racing wheels are made in 21, 22 and 23" but we only list the 21s for the GC, so I doubt the larger sizes would clear.

No. ACS always say "rather fast than hard". We don't do hard suspension...

Yes, if you could find out, I would really appreciate it. Right now theres about 1" to 1.5" gap all around.

Is there a proper way to measure the gap before and after other then just doing the "finger" test. "How many finger gap is it?"

Thanks!

The B18 wheels from Modulare were ordered the same day as the ACS springs from a Bay Area Wheel tire specialist. The wheels are custom forged and will take 5-8 weeks. So when they come in they will install the springs at the time. We got a package deal. Wheels, tires, springs, 4 wheel alignment, mounting, balance, spring install. We got the price we were happy with for the whole deal. The wheels are 20x9 front 20X10.5 Using 245/35 ZR/20 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta front and 285/30 ZR 20 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta

Please post some pictures after fitting the springs and wheels. 285/30/20 at the back will be pure sexy!
