M6 Steering Retrofited

Retrofited the M6 steering wheel on my F06. Everything except the M buttons work.

And yes, you need to get the airbag as well.

I'd be a bit worried the airbag won't deploy

I'd be a bit worried if and when they did deploy.

I'm interested in this. Do you feel a difference while driving or is it just cosmetic?

Curious, what is the size of your Nav screen? Looks smaller than the 10.2 inches of the US version.

I drove an M-Sport 335 with the M wheel the other day, didn't like it. Too big, too b=fat.

Mostly cosmetic. The leather feels nicers but I think the M Sport steering wheel (which I had) is actually thicker with better feel......

Am I going to put back my M Sport wheels for that slightly thicker feel? Hell No!

Us poor souls in Asia pay more than double you US guys for a lesser car

7", no navigation. Which is fine with me as nothing can beat navigation on my phone nowadays.....

If anyone's interested in trying this, PM me. I can hook you up with a good deal for an M6 wheel like the one mlai installed.

I always struggled to figure out why I do not like this steering wheel as much as the m-sport one, but now I have.

It feels as if the horizontal spokes (the ones with the buttons) sit too low, and the steering wheel looks a bit asymmetrical. I prefer the m-sport wheel.

I had my reservations...... But the M6 steering wheel's more open top half actually obscures the dash less and is easier to find the perfect sport without blocking the view of the dash information.......
