MP3 player help
I searched he forums, but couldn't find an answer...
What MP3 players are you guys using? I tried a gen 2 or 3 iPod, but the car won't recognize it. Then I bought a cheap MP3 player and still no love. What player will be recognized, including playlists? Thanks! |

I can't use my 1st generation ipod in my '13 6er either, but my ipod touch works just fine. I guess the newer generation Idrive just won't recognize the older ipod software.

I just run my music application from my iPhone 6+ and have never had an issue. Like ^ mentioned- new idrive may not recognize older devices

I loaded em all on a USB drive and downloaded em to the HD. no playlists, but you can create new files for that if you are so inclined.
Sounds much better. |

A new iPod shuttle kept trying to load the songs for a couple days. Then I picked up a new iPod Nano and it worked just fine, right at plug in. All the playlists are available immediately.
Problem solved. |

the dynamic range is no good on bluetooth? I'm just not an audiophile so I never noticed that.
