vorsteiner M6 body kit alternatives?
I'm looking for a carbon body kit for my M6 GC and I really like the Vorsteiner one but its so damn expensive. My local dealer quoted me 11k dollars for the whole kit including front & rear spoilers, side skirts and diffuser but its still waaayyy too much money. Anyone know any other good looking kits that wont break the bank?

Speaking from experience (trial and error) you get what you pay for when it comes to carbon fiber. I have bought some "cheap/moderate" carbon fiber parts. Those cheap/moderate parts are now sitting in my garage because they are crap. What was initially a "good deal" turned out to be "expensive" once they found home collecting dust in my garage.

In my opinion vorsteiner is the only choice. The kit flows so well with the car. The side skirts are probably something you can pass on too since they break very easily and im assuming your car is or will be lowered. They arent cheap either so youll definitely save a lot. Id go with their first model of the front lip. Looks more aggressive. They came out with a second model the gts-v but i dont like how it curves upward. Looks off to me. the product is very well made but i have snapped my front lip already so have to be very careful when hitting driveways or bumps since it makes the front of your car a little lower.
Price wise, id shop around. Think i paid somewhere around 6k or less fully installed for the lip spoiler and diffuser. If youre in LA area i can refer you so PM me. Enlaes and some of the other options are cool but vorsteiner just looks more sharp to me. Its really adds to the look of the car |

I think I can do without the side skirts and front lip but definitely considering the rear diffuser and spoiler. My M6 has a competition package diffuser on the back which is pretty pathetic. I posted a picture. So I would have to scrap it for the Vorsteiner. Also, I've got mixed feelings about spoilers on cars. Honestly the only car I actually like the spoiler on is the 911 Turbo. Everything else looks tacky in my opinion and putting a spoiler on a Gran Coupe can make it look like a Subaru if you're not careful. The Vorsteiner one actually looks cool though since its got that unique shape and isn't just a continuous line but wondering how it would look on a GC. |

Just an opinion, but I think the Enales looks too bulky. The front splitter makes the M6 look like a snow plow.
