640D Coding

Hi Guys,

I recently purchased a cable and loaded software and have learnt alot. so far i have done the following

- Video in motion
- XVID, VCD etcetc
- changed startup emblem to M Logo annimation
- enabled video from USB
- Enabled Wireless but needed to know where i can get a wifi module from
-ASD to M6

I tried the following and was unsucessful
- Tilt passenger mirror for parking
- try to get the mirror to close on one click
- Enabled the Mini ASD Menu. but it doesnt do anything apart from bring a few more options up

It was easy once i got my head around it. Has anyone else done any other interesting Mods?

Hi Sunny what do you think of the m6 sound? Does it intrude on normal driving?

It sounds good at the moment but i haven't driven the car today. just been really busy with work and quickly messed around with it over lunch.

I really want to get the white cluster all the time not to keen on the orange

Yeah I prefer the white too. Makes it look more modern I reckon.

What year is your 6? I've a 2012 F12 without ASD, and wondering is it possible to code?

Hi Tom,

iv got a 2013 640D GC.

i thought all 6 has ASD.

Dan, i took it out for a spin today and it does actually sound good. i guess it each to their own opinion but i think im leaving it in.

Has anyone managed to get the boot to close? or do you need to add additional motor?

do you get the ASD module options when you read back in ESYS

To get white did you just change Dim_nacht_ein to FF

I set my but nothing changed. Not sure what it's going to do in the day

Spoke to DD coding earlier and when I get time I'm going to get them to do all the coding. Looking forward to hearing the m6 sound.

Got the one touch folding mirrors done and he is going to do the White dials tonight

I believe the setting to Change is in KOMBI 3007 / DIM_Nacht_EIN to set this to FF but i cant seem to get it to work.

looks Ace. i really want to work out what im missing. I have no worked out everytime i code DIM_NACHT_EIN it reverts back to 0A from FF
