UK Delivery Timings

Hey Guys,

Could any UK chaps kindly share with me their delivery timings of cars you ordered.

I have been working off this schedule and as of today my car is at 9000 - Departed Plant. Just trying to get a steer on when my car will be arriving. I have plugged in some relevant dates too which may help if anyone wants some idea about how quickly or not so quickly things are happening

I'm kind of getting a bit impatient now

But more importantly I am off to South America on the 5th December so, sort of hoping will arrive before I fly out so I can bring it home and not be sitting at a dealership until I return on the 23rd December

Paid deposit over the phone - 30th October
Paid another deposit at the dealership and signed order form - 31st October

1100 Scheduled
1200 Scheduled for Production
5000 Confirmed for Production
5050 Chassis Number Allocated - 31st October
5055 Confirmed by Production Control - 2nd November

5100 Bodyshop Start
5190 Bodyshop Complete - 10th November
5200 Paintshop Start
5270 Paintshop Complete
5300 Pre-Assembly Start
5400 Assembly Start
5500 Assembly Complete - 12th November

6000 Transfer to Distribution - 16th November
8200 Released to Carrier
9000 Departed Plant
9615/35/45 In Storage
9610/20/30/40/50/60 In Transit
9800 Arrived Dealer

My new 1 series took about 6 weeks from order day to delivery day.

I assume it would be longer for M cars?

I am being advised it should be 4 weeks for my one....I'll let you it pans out.

My process has been a mare..... took over 6 weeks for the factory to agree build.
Order went in on the 6th Oct, be lucky to see the car in March lol

I have ordered it in Signal green with green stitching throughout. There issue was pricing the green stitching I believe.

Should look mad when it arrives. Ok not everybody's cup of tea but different for sure

Haha sort of ! I actually call BMW Customer Service and harrass them everyday instead. I then update my dealer

That is the question ! If it isn't with me by the 4th December then I am not going to see it until the 23rd December. In this case I will literally be coming by cab directly from Heathrow straight to the dealership with our suitcases.
