A $2 solution to those pesky front plate tickets while parked

So I've been through everything including Velcro, suction cups, plate hiding contraptions (which all blow), and I finally came up with this:

Three pieces of hardware and just place it in the grill mesh, remove in morning before driving. Threads on screws keep it secure. Only thing I really need is to buy the sticky felt so it doesn't scratch anything, and that's it.

I couldn't care less and if I get one I pay it.

Oh I probably should have elaborated, its raining outside, that's not my car its a car inside my dealership. And it takes two seconds to put it on and off. As for paying it, I do, but this cocksucking meter maid doesn't like me and drives by my house daily. $65*7= $455 a week.. no thanks jeff

If it's a correctable offense (fix a ticket), don't you have to get it signed off by an officer or someone from the court house to get the fine decreased? I got a no front plate ticket + tints on front windows (both were correctable) and it was $350+. Once I got them signed off, it was $25 per violation so I ended up paying $50. I initially used a velcro to mount the front plates and the officer didn't care but he told me that since it was local PD who gave me the ticket, they can keep issuing it and I'll have to keep getting it signed off to reduce the fine ($150). In the end, it was not worth the headache so I just mounted the front plates

Interesting that they charge $65 in NY vs $150 in CA for no front plates ticket. Does your fine go down if you correct the violation?
