Newer M6 owner

Hey folks,

I've posted here and there but I'd figure I'd say hello.
I've owned my '06 M6 for about 5 years now and recently upgraded to a '14 M6 and love it. I've had it for a little over a month now and have already gone hard with modifications.

The car:
'14 M6 w/ 7500 Miles on it.
-Sahkir Orange
-Competition Package
-Executive Package
-Drivers Assist+ Package
-Carbon Ceramic Brakes
-Bang & Olufsen Sound
-Nightvision

Modifications (within the first month of owership lol):
-Passport 9500Ci w/ Laser shifters (concealed install in rearview mirror)
-Dinan Stage 2 ECU PiggyBack
-Dinan Intakes
-AMS Catless Downpipes
-Akrapovic Evolution exhaust
-Awron vent gauge
-BMW M Performance Steering wheel V2
-BMW Carbon fiber shifter
-Vorsteiner (full accents: front lip, side Aero Blades, rear diffuser, trunk lid spoiler) - ready to be installed soon.
-Adv.1 wheels - ADV05 Track Spec SL's - a thin 5 spoke design to show off the Carbon Ceramic brakes.
-KW Height Adjustable kit (although the car sits so low I don't want to devastate the Vorsteiner accents lol).
-Modesta PD+ Coating.

Past Vehicles:
-2006 Bmw M6 w/ 83k miles (need to sell soon).
-2005 Ferrari F430 w/ 30k miles (need to sell soon).
-2005 Honda S2000 (I miss that car hehe).

Ceramics

I love the Carbon Ceramics... one of the best features of the car. I can truly feel the grippy stopping power considering the weight of the vehicle. Then again I've never had a vehicle with such large rotors either. The F430 has a BBK installed but that's a different creature entirely.

hauls indeed. Yeah the CEL bothers me a bit but I have a Kiwi Plx to check codes from time to time... I knew I'd be getting the CEL but went with Catless Downpipes anyways to see what kind of gains I'd get. I might switch to highflow cats.. not sure on that.

How is the feel moving from a real sport car like F430 to a large GT like M6? Which is more pleasant to drive?

I went from an Honda S2000 to a 2006 M6 then picked up the F430 and now the new M6.

I still have both M6's and the F430 - I'm pretty used to the weight of the M6.
(In other words the weight of the newer M6 was no surprise).

As far as comparison between the F430 or the M6? Ehhh totally different vehicles. The Ferrari is zippy - it's no slouch - and really shines in the twisties with handling.

I've autocrossed the F430 and I've tracked my older M6. I definitely prefer the F430 for track/performance driving. DEFINITELY the M6 for straight line speed. My E63 M6 slightly pulls on the F430 when roll racing. The new M6 blows everything away for sure.

The F430 is a beautiful platform and probably the sexiest car I've ever owned.. but the M6 is really more my style.. my heart is with Bmw. lol.

Yeah it's something like 4-6weeks. They shipped already and should be at my buddy's shop very soon. I'll definitely post pics when they're on.

I ordered 5.0 MV1 SL's. I like the forged mono-block look.
