Question

The gap between current convertible and coupe pricing is about 9-10% isn't it?

6MT comes standard on a new X50i? Excellent.

Alpine White with the Ivory White leather interior looks pretty good.

So the MY2011 doesn't exist? This MY2012 replaces the MY2010 if I'm not mistaken?

I'm sorry... but for some reason, I don't think this car compares to others in the 100k range. Something about it (the ugly-ass front-end, maybe) seems way off...especially the proportions.

I was hoping that this car would look different live in the skin...and it DOES NOT. I was at the Detroit Auto Show and my wife and I were quite disturbed at what we saw...I think the coupe will look a little better (only in M-sport trim), but the vert looks so feminine, long, bloated, and looks very lazy.

I do like the interior though.

Wonder how they justify the $5,000 price increase compared to the previous gen. The 5 or 7 didn't get that...

must be the hard top convertible... I would think of all cars in BMW lineup to make hardtop, this would be the one - especially with the new facility they have for pumping out HTs. There are few things that scream luxury like HT and it seems the 6 series buyer would be happy to sacrifice the performance

on the flipside it has not belonged on the z4 and 3.

+1 they had it at the auto-show in Toronto and I swear its like people were walking right by it not even knowing it existed. Hopefully the ///M treatment will fix all that.

Yup, same thing at the NAIAS (Detroit)...they had 2 of them and absolutely no one was stopping to look...literally, no crowd whatsoever.

I went to the Autoshow today in Toronto. Absolutely no one was looking at the new 6. Actually the BMW section wasn't busy at all; just a few high school kids running around taking pictures of themselves inside the cars. Audi and Mercedes both had at least 5 times the number of people.
