Uk service pack changes - 1st jan 2017
To note anyone buying a uk car will find the service pack has been reduced in cost, but instead of 5 years or 50k is only 3 years or 30k for any car sold with the service pack from the 1st jan 2017.

That's totally pointless by the sounds of it for many of us. Mine has the 60,000 5 year package. 56700 miles now with 4200 until service. May just get the last one in..

Aye, you will paying pretty much for one service in many regards (unless you hoon it every where (or lots of short trips in a diesel)).
To add insult to injury even if you made it to the 3 years BMW have removed MOT Protect and the Brake Fluid change at 3 years....it really is a rip off now, where as the older 5 year 50K at least made it worthwhile. Either way I am doing interim services (oil filter and LL04 oil) on mine at about 10k so every other will be under the service pack. In regards to your service you can book it in 1000 miles before (from memory), but make sure your mileage does not tick over the threshold otherwise you could be faced with a rather unexpected bill... |
