This is it! The official World Premiere of the BMW 6 Series Convertible. This car is the real deal production car. What was shown previously was the 6-Series Concept car. While the look of the car is basicly identical to the "concept" car, this is now an official production vehicle. In many instances, BMW likes to show off a "concept" version of a car first in order to acclimate the public to the new offering before making it official, so thats the major distinction between the two.

Too the more trained eye, subtle changes between the concept and production can be seen, especially around the mirrors and door handles. These are must needed changes to allow the car to be street legal.

The car comes in the bespoke Cashmere Silver that BMW has become awfully fond of in recent years, and can be considered understated or overstated depending on your perspective.

Just to recap, under the hood of the 650i is a 4.4L V8 producing 407 hp. The interior is truly awe inspiring, with design and details that look like this is an Aston Martin. The stiching is flawless and understated, with lucious curves throughout the cockpit. This is a car I could imagine just being sold off dealers lots after customers sit inside the car. No test drive needed!

All the details surrounding this car can be found at our official thread!

same ugly roof as the E64, but other than that looks pretty nice...interior is awesome o_o, needs a lower ride height and larger/more aggressive wheels?

BMW did a nice job on this one. I'm sure there'll be all over the streets of Miami soon

Great looking car configured precisely as it should be. This hard top vert stuff is crap. They are heavy and TOTALLY f'up any storage space. Went from a E64 to an E93 as I didn't want to get a third sixer with the same body style, especially the model year before this arrived. Can't even use the car to go play golf w/o putting the rear seat down.

A well designed canvas top IS the way to go in a vert. My five layer six series top was super quiet, didn't squeak, and didn't add 200 lbs in addition to other vert beef-ups required down below. Oh, and two golf bags fit along with soft luggage and a garment bag.

I'm buying this one or the M variant in the spring of 2012.

I am seeing this correctly?

BMW is raising the price of the 650i vert by $6k, to $91,375.

The next M6 is going to be very expensive.
