** Need Help Alpina B6 owners... **
Checking out a B6 and I notice that if the headlamps are on and it’s dark — the gauge is bmw orange. Then, if you open the door, the gauges (extd display as well temp & Odom) turn white like daytime. Iff you close the doors again it goes back to nite display. Basically saying the gauges go white with the door open which doesn’t happen with other bmws, just trying to see if this is normal.
Anyone have a B6 to check? |

Ahh i'm with you..
Just tried in my work underground car park. The dials remain orange when i open the door. Hopefully some B6 owners will chime in for you to confirm. P.s do you have digital dash? |

Just to come in, noticed last night the dials go from orange to white as the passenger door was opened. They went back orange after the door was locked. I've got a 2013 640d euro spec. 6wa cluster on version 49.003

its must be a 6er/Alpina thing! I got two F30s and non of them does that! one of my friends have a M5 F10 and it's doesn't do that either!
that's interesting! thanks for sharing your observation!!
