Diffuser Install

Picked up a VORSTEINER rear diffuser and was planning on installing it myself this weekend. There are no instructions provided so I am reaching out to anyone that has installed this for tips.

It came with double sided tape and some minor hardware that appears to go in factory slots. My main question is sequencing and lining things up and any tips from guys that may have screwed up theirs the first time

My local BMW dealership installed it for me, I've heard it was a pain... After using the double sided tape, make sure to leave it for like 12 hours (don't drive the car)

Screws and the tape are key. My shop had to use some different screws to make it nice and clean. I would recommend having at least 2 other people help you and it's much easier if the car is on a lift. I had my body shop do mine, but it's possible to DIY, but definitely have some friends there to help -- and make sure they are the friends that are handy, not sloppy. LOL!

I removed the OEM part last night to see how things line up and it was very close. The OEM hardware for the back 3 bolts are too short to go through the new part, I think new screws are mandatory. The tape just flat out scares me. Lining things up to satisfy my OCD eyes is going to be tough since it appears its a one shot no adjustment type of install.

It might be better off left to a pro

You can install it with the help of 1 additional person.
My kit came with black adhesive.
Line it up and apply the adhesive where it contacts.
And I changed out the screws for some nice black hardware.
You can let it sit over night and it will be good to go !
