Thanks...

Finally got the final paperwork on the vehicle. Also, recently moved to GA from NJ, so NJ sales tax (7.0%) actually replaced by TAVT tax (6.5%). Additionally, fees dropped due to lesser registration/titling and no longer needing to pay NJ Supplemental Titling Fee.

Here are my confirmed final numbers:

2014 M6GC ($113,000)
Metallic Paint ($0)
Individual Leather ($5,000)
Individual Trim ($1,080)
Executive Package ($5,500)
Drivers Assistance ($1,900)
B&O Sound ($3,700)
Destination Charge ($925)
Gas Guzzler ($1,300)

MSRP = $132,405
Sale Price = $125,000 (roughly 2% over invoice)

Additional Fees/Add-Ons:
Wheel & Tire Protection ($2,292)... 5 year plan
Registration/Titling ($154)
Documentation Fee ($289)
TAVT Tax ($8,163)

Total Vehicle Cost = $135,898
Manufacturer Rebate = Loyalty Cash ($1,500) + Turn Key ($500) = $2,000
Down Payment = $62,000
Program = 2.99% for 72 Months

Final Payment = $1,093.41

nice price, so you can buy this for just over invoice.

I wonder how much they're willing to do (% over invoice) if I elect:

cash purchase
no trade
minimum options

I paid about $2,500 off sticker. The reason I say "about" is that I had to also negotiate the value of my trade in on the deal.

I wouldn't go into any dealership expecting to pay 2% over invoice. I think I was just incredibly lucky.

From a timing perspective, I ordered this thing back in April before there was a lot of information out on the car. Don't think the BMWUSA.com configurator was even functioning properly when we first priced the thing out. I can specifically tell you the noted destination charge was $895 at the time (now $925).

Not sure the dealer thought they'd even sell any of these things with the M5 sitting right beside it, doing practically the exact same thing, for $20K less. Actually went in there shopping the 550i and the X6 50i, so at the time they were probably excited about the up-sell.

Pretty sure the dealer wants to rip up my paperwork as we speak, but what's done is done.

Full disclosure, at my MSRP the first price they offered was $125,750. I only actually negotiated down $750 (on principle) and shook his hand before he could take it back! Funny thing is, my wife actually wanted me to continue to shop the price to make sure I got the best deal... I placed calls just to see, but no one else even came close.

5 more days...

what did you trade and what did they give you? The reason I ask is, the trade side of the equation can be a significant money maker for dealer too.

Traded in my '07 E550 Benz, 93k miles all options, black/black looked and drove like new. $18,500. Carmax wanted to give me $14k.
