Turned down $40k offer for my 2013....keep and get USAA Warranty?

I have debated what to do with my 2013 M6 convertible as the extended warranty ends. I put her up for sale, but priced high. I did get an offer for $40k but I just can't go that low.

USAA offers an extended warranty, 2 years/24k miles for $3,200. Anyone use them and what was the experience like.

I just used my USAA warranty for the first time on my F10. Went really well. They negotiated the price down with the dealer and covered 100% of the $2900 bill.

Glad to hear. My service rep warned me about after market warranties not willing to pay the $256 and hour they charge for M cars. Though I have a good independent if needed. Do you know who underwrites USAA or is it in house?

Check out AutoPOM also. They have an Exclusionary warranty which covers pretty much everything that's "big money" (engine, turbos, trans, drivetrain, electronics) and a $500 deductible. You can bring your car to any ASE certified mechanic of your choice, including a dealer and there's nothing in the contract which limits an hourly rate. I've not yet had to file a claim, but 2nd and 3rd hand reports review them well. If you're interested, PM me and I can give you the phone number of my rep.

Which ones did you go with Cincinnatus (or anyone for that matter who used AutoPOM).?

Was it due to your geographic location? Which plan would you advise for an owner located in FL?

Mercury Ultimate
Platinum MBI
Platinum Plus
Royal Ultimate
Elite Plus MBI
EFG Ultimate

Thanks!

I tried Mercury for my 2010 Porsche Cayenne. About 40 days in I took car in for stuck thermostat. It took Mercury four days to decide to deny coverage as a pre-existing condition. While in the shop, dealer also noticed small oil gasket leak, that was also denied as pre-existing. I immediately cancelled coverage. I am not saying they weren't right to deny, but the way they handled was poor, and I suspected that future claims would all be a struggle.

I didn't even give any thought to geography, since the warranty covers any ASE Certified mechanic, or obviously, any BMW dealership also. In my case, I had a local BMW Center perform and document a full CPO inspection prior to purchase, so that there would be no questions about "pre-existing conditions".

USAA is the best warranty company I have ever dealt with.
Never questioned any repairs. Always paid for the OEM price estimate's and cut a check right away.

I went with AAA extended warranty for mt 2014 M6 Cab per my BMW service advisor. It has a 100.00 deductible and he said they never give them a problem for repairs.
