2014 M6 Gran Coupe

What’s up Everyone!

Hopefully we can figure this out.

I had a short in my door handle, kept blowing the fuse that ended up throwing 30+ codes. The fuse is linked with abs module, etc. I replaced the handle and the fuse, cleared the codes, everything is solid except now. When driving in sport, manual mode, when I down shift the tranny/engine used to hold my rpm’s and slow me down, but now it holds for 2 or 3 seconds and lets go, no engine/tranny or rpm’s slowing me down. It’s like it goes in neutral, weird. Never did this prior door handle short

Any idea what that could be?

Was there a time between fixing the door handle and the time this new thing appeared, or was it there right away?

Variable engine braking is what I kinda read up about but nothing pertaining to my issue.
