Thinking of a 650I

Looking at getting into a 650I Convertible and talking to the dealer and he is not budging on MSRP tell me that this is a high end Vech and has to be ordered and that's why they only offer it at MSRP. Any advice on trying to get them down..

Absolutely, just shop around. That dealer is FOS. Also negotiate the price however you can and then do European Delivery.

I just purchased a 2014 GC and there are deals out there. If that dealer is stuck on MSRP I would suggest you check other dealers in your area. I looked as far as 120 miles. When I found other cars and better deals the local dealer was more willing to negotiate.

Shop around. I'm in Texas. My drive out price on 650 grand coupe was less than MSRP. I didn't haggle too much but just on principle alone, I could never buy a car at full asking. I've seen some post for $1k over invoice. I paid $1600 over invoice. $1k would have been nice but there's only one dealer in my city and I wasn't going to drive to another town just to try to save $600.

Got my 2014 650i xDrive Convertible (new digital dash) at invoice...about $99,500. MSRP WAS $106k and change. Bought Sept 30 at quarter-end. Dealers are motivated to sell. Multiple MSRP by 93% and that's rough invoice. They make money at invoice from "trunk money" offered from BMW on volume sales. Shop till you find a dealer who will sell at $0 to $800 over invoice. Good luck. Bill Jacobs BMW is where I deal in Naperville Il.

My bad, apparently math is not my forte. I paid $120 over invoice. Got $7k off. I asked to throw in the mats for free but CA said it's included so he said he'll give me the tint for free.
