Well, sorry for the wait (damn holidays to Hawaii got in the way!!). Here she is, hope there's not too many to bore ya??? As Southern22 has said many times, these cars are soooooooooo fun to drive. Sport mode (because of Southern22) is now in place for in town driving. Awesome setting.

Looks great! Glad you're liking it. Sport mode is the mode this car was made to be driven in. I use Comfort as a "mute" button around cops or in the neighborhood late at night. Other than that, this car deserves the extra grunt of the M Sport exhaust, tight steering, quick throttle response, and sportier shifting.

Have you had any snow or ice to put iDrive to the test? I only have severe rain to deal with (I havent' seen my house covered in snow 15 years ago when I was in the first grade), and iDrive makes the car feel like the roads are bone dry. Curious to hear thoughts about the system when really put to the test.

Oh, and I'm going to have to switch to shadowline since BMW deprived me of that. I like the aluminum fine, but the shadowline is more aggressive and complements the M Sport package.

Hey Domer. Yeah, the GTO is a grunt. It now has app 500hp and a 5 spd.

As far as the fake "M" badging goes......... I guess it's a matter of choice? When you order the M pkg you get 8 letter "M's" with the car and a very nice limited edition "M" ball cap.

I do not like it when they use the fake "M6" badging, so no harm, no foul, I say.
It is an "M" optioned car but not an "M6" car, right??

Indeed they are. BMW option all weather mats. The Ivory floor mats are senseless in our climate Have also ordered the BMW black velour mats for the summer months. Also got the BMW trunk liner.

Where did you find a trunk liner? I couldn't find one. My trunk is currently being lined by a meticulously folded black towel.

+1, please remove that nonesense from the trunk and the rims, it looks very distasteful. You have a beautiful car, it doesnt need a fake badge to elevate it, its already a great car.

Its not a matter of choice, but of deception to yourself. And why in the world would you put M6 on your license plate when you dont drive an M6? that is poseur and really unnecessary for such a nice car. Msports are just car kits, nothing else, and thats why the 'ms are all inside, you dont put an M badge on a car unless it came from the factory with an M

you dont count the silly logo on the rims, please, you are now a poseur, who are you trying to impress? Hey Southern........ here's what I got from BMW. A rubber trunk mat with a folding box (non slip for little parcels) and a fold out protector mat for loading the golf clubs or car parts for the Goat!!! Very nice indeed.

Also the floor mats are BMW all weather and great for a rainy/snowy climate.

Both are worth the money.

Thanks! I got a black collapsible bin [about 15" x 12" x 3" (collapsed, 8" expanded)] that I keep back there that has worked really well. It's hardly noticeable when it's folded up, but it's big enough to carry several grocery bags when expanded. I primarily got it to keep bags from flying around back... I would cry over spilt milk in my 6er lol.

I'm going to have to look into the liner. The towel has been fine, but $15 towel from a department store to line the trunk of a $100k car just seems wrong.
