Lowering Springs and Spacers

Thinking about doing these mods to start. Just a few questions for those who have done it...

I. Springs:
A. What company are you guys using?
B. Did you DIY or get them installed at a shop?
1. Was it an easy DIY?
a. How long did it take?
2. Was it expensive to have a shop do the work?
C. Does it affect the ride in different modes?
1. Does Sport mode get even more tighter?
2. Does Comfort+ mode lose its bouncy "comfort?"

II. Spacers
A. What size did you use so as not to have to roll the fenders and no scraping of the wheels and wheel well.
B. What company?
C. Is this an easy DIY? As simple as taking the wheels off and adding the spacers?

I am new to this so please pardon my ignorance. Also, I plan on leaving the stock M-Sport 20" wheels (#373M)

Thanks in advance!!!

Very simple. Go with Megan Racing coilovers for front and rear which are fully adjustable. I just did this and my 6 Conv dries as good as tock or better.

Thanks for the recommendation. I was thinking about that but coil overs are a bit pricey, considering all the mods I wanted to do in total. Gonna cost me a small fortune lol.

Any experience with just springs?

IA. AC Schnitzer, coils only
IB1. Looked to do it myself but with all of the wiring and things in the way, took it to a shop.
IB2. Shop took 4 hours because they ran into the problems I saw. Upon initial pricing, they charged me $150 but he said that it was much more difficult than he expected.
IC. Rides great. Very little difference in the ride compared to the original.

Haven't run spacers. Hope that helps.

Thanks you very much. When you say coils only, you're talking about just the actual springs, right?

How much did they lower it? Thanks

Yes, just the springs. The factory claims a 30mm drop but it seems like most of it was in the front. The back was about .75in and the front about 1.25in
