Good numbers. I bought the vBox for myself, should receive it on monday.
Why don't you dyno your car? Costs about $125 for 3 runs.
There are no dyno operators in my area that are familiar with the M6 , and I've seen one almost jump off a dynojet in Charlotte bc the shop didn't know how to or where to tie it down ( they used the rear control arms ..... ) . Bottom line too many headaches with no benefit for me .

Tested my car all day today. 94 octane, +3PSI, the pedal box, and exhaust Meister.
Car runs perfectly, much faster, much more responsive. Not regretting with choosing BMS. Car is 1000 times better and more fun than stock.

Here is a quick cold start video with the exhaust meister (valve opener)

Car went from 97 DB to 108 DB, no drone.

94 octane is not enough for 3psi and you're mods . You're car will make more power on the standard settings. You have too much airflow to be running +3 psi , you're engine was knocking like crazy on those dyno's . I'm trying to help you ??? Terry doesn't even rec what you're doing . In his big number dynos he's running close to 100 octane , so was the guy I watched dyno his car in Charlotte.

You can't tell that by dyno chart. Terry has a degree and way more experience.
A few more specialists confirmed, that 3psi won't do harm. Terry earned a high reputation, no car was damaged by BMS. Car runs way better than stock, no regrets here.
Do you have an engineering degree? Or maybe a dyno chart of your car, to see your curve?
If not, then all I see is a troll.

What's wrong with staying stock? The M6 is an amazing car as is. Not everyone feels the need to make their car look like a rice box. Go take a walk.

Mr-Karim, I don't see anything wrong with what gmd2003 is trying to tell you. I am an engineer but not mechanical one. I'm electrical design engineer but my knowledge in engineering tells me everything is designed with a limit. you cannot push the limit more that what it's designed for. M6 by itself has more than enough power as you call it "stock". most of the dyno charts over the internet prove that the actual power/torque is even more than what BMW claims. BMW has an expert engineering team who designed this engine and I think we have to trust them if this engine was able to be pushed more, they would do. bottom line this is your car and your money and you can do whatever you want, but I think most of us are going to enjoy this car as a DD car and not track car so what's the reason to have lots of mod and gain some numbers like 700+HP?? if you read the User's manual they have mentioned that this is not a racing car! sorry my friends but I just feel people are trying to warn you and there is no advantage or disadvantage for them if you drive a stock car or fully mod car. I'm driving a stock car and do not want to do any modification. If I was really looking for just power and numbers I would go for Porsche 911 turbo s or even GTR, but I believe M6 is the combination of sporty and luxurious.
Enjoy your beautiful car

I hear ya. Nothing wrong with leaving it stock. BMW owners divide on 2 categories, some drive it as it is, and some would like to get everything out of the car. I will be bringing my car to the drag racing track this summer, to see what it's capable of. M6 can easily handle 700 hp crank, especially with modded parts (pp-performance and manhart do well).
I take all responsibility of my car, if something goes wrong, I'll pay for the service if I have to. I don't keep cars longer than 1 year, I'm a type of person that gets bored of cars very fast, and modding cars is the only thing that keeps my interest up. To be honest, I got bored of a stock m6 within the first 4-5 days, but it's just me.

The funny thing is
A .)my car isn't stock ( I have Supersprint DP's and Gruppe M intake ).
B.) I was just suggesting that he follow Terry's on advice about his product lol
The ECU can not adapt fueling and timing enough when it's being tricked into + 3psi , and thus needs
really high octane to prevent knocking . Terry has publicly said this and rec people not turn it up that much until he can actually gain control over timing AND fueling ( which will likely be never )
I'm not against tuning , I'm just smart about it , and believe in the do it right or don't do anything approach . The OP would make more power on 94 octane, and not have a horrible.hole in his midrange power curve if he would turn the settings back down , but he won't listen .

Haha thanks man. If you get bored of cars, I could suggest installing the pedalbox; it won't add any power, but makes the car way more fun to drive.

No exhaust?
This guy does well. His best 1/4 time is 11.8, which is amazing for 550xi.
His car is doing good, no check engine lights or anything.

I trust Terry, and enjoyed my experience with him way more than with Dinan.

Let's see , different car , different engine AND different ECU . Terry actually has control of timing and fueling with the N63 platform . The M6 stock traps 10 mph faster than his Stage 2 tuned car . If and when Terry actually achieves this for the S63 TU I would consider it . A full JB4 product would be great but , that's not what we have now . Yes 3 psi can be safe for our motors but only if the fueling and timing is right . One question for you , it's easy , yes or no will do . Did Terry tell you directly it was ok to run + 3 psi on pump gas ? I'm really trying to help you , and don't understand why you are being childish .

Yes, I did ask Terry many times if +3PSI would be safe for my M6.
I told him my mods, and the type of fuel I'm using (94 octane race gas); his response:
"For a racing fuel mix 3.00 can be used."

All of Terry's tests that he has posted with 3 psi has been with a lot of 100 octane ~ 96 + octane . You are the first to try running 3 psi with that low of an octane , don't assume that it's enough . The only evidence you've gotten is that it was not . Remember you're car is sig faster from the DP's and exhaust mods no matter what the BMS is doing . I'm just suggesting you try a lower setting and see if you're curves looks better . You may be just generating extra heat and no power with the 3 psi running 94 . More boost isn't always better if you don't have the fueling and timing for it . One piece of advice , it's you're car that I assume you've worked very hard for .Don't trust any company , no matter how reputable absolutely . When you are pushing the limits or an early adopter be a little cautious and patient , it will pay off in the long run .

Lets try it.
Just changed PSI back to 2.5 (good for 93 octane, should be perfect with 94).
I will book another Dyno test at Dynojet and do a few runs.

Sounds good
Buddy believe me your car has much more power than most of the cars!
As I told you the other day I could get 0-60 in 3.7-3.8 with stock spec.
I can beat most of the rear wheel drive cars! yours is much faster to avoid you being bored

100% agree! I wont put my 100k+ car on the risk of anybody's business except BMW company
