Power glitch
I was driving today and my instrument panel and NAV screen went blank.
The instrument panel just flickered, but the NAV screen was showing this:  After 2-3 mins it turned on again. Has anyone had this happen?  |

Do you have a '14 with the full digital dash board or '13? Its probably just a an electrical gremlin, I wouldn't worry about it unless it shows up again. First thing that they would probably check is all the connections and go from there. |

Seems like a computer rebooted to me. Haven't had it happen on my 650. I had a 535i before where the computer rebooted once. If it happens again, you better get to your service department!

I had a similar issue. My nav screen would turn on and off, just the backlight. It would do that for a while then stabilize. BMW had my car for two weeks, got a new nav and computer.
