Weak AC

Hey guys, long time no "see", I recently got back into BMW's and I purchased my favorite BMW again, a 2014 f12, as before I bought a MMI unit to retrofit carplay, all went well (this is my 3rd time installing one), but I had some issues were my AC did not work at all, actually there was no air coming trough at all, so I thought I must have done something wrong, took it apart and done it again and voila it works, but the AC is pretty weak, I was actually impressed how cold it was just the other day and now even at lowest temp seems a bit weak, is there something that I might have knocked or messed up? I truly can't figure it out, any ideas?

Not sure what you mean by "weak". Airflow or temperature gradient? If it is temperature, the most obvious thing to me is to check the diverter/mixer wheel on the upper dash, or whatever that thing is called. This wheel controls the temperature of the airflow from the dash vents onto the upper part of the body only. It allows you to mix the air temperature independently of the temperature knob settings.

That's my first guess, since you said everything worked well before.

Sorry for the late response, i meant that there’s little to no air coming out from the vents, now it’s stopped working at all, i can hear the blower running but the flaps don’t seem to open, i had a diagnostic done and it came up with a few errors, 8011af, 80120fa, 8011b1, b3, b5 and b7, al of them to do with ihka. Unfortunately they were closing shop and had to reschedule me. Looks like a bad wire/connection somewhere?

It appears that I found the problem and solution after a long hot week, the 2 connectors/clips from the climate control unit needs to be all the way down when plugged back in, now works, tested for a few minutes only, will come back with updates.

my AC broke last summer, turns out it only needed a recharge
I have coverage to fix it, they stick you with a $500 dollar diagnosis fee which is covered if the AC needed fixing, and not covered if it doesnt... turns out it doesnt need fixing so I got hit with a bullshit bill, yeah fuck you BMW, fuck you

My F12 had a complete ac overhaul by the PO.
It seems these cars suffer from AC issues. I’ve personally never had any major issues on other BMWs.
