M6 logo on front grille?

Hi guys. I just traded my F10 M5 for a M6. I ordered the BMW black performance grills and noticed that they dont come with the M6 logo on them. Does the M6 logo on the stock grilles pop off? and then can be placed on the performance grilles?

haha! Just noticed also that the performance grills for the 6 series arent double slatted? like on the stock M6 grilles? Am I wrong? If not, I guess I need to order the IND glossy black grilles. My bad...

You can also just pop your grills off and just paint the chrome part black like I did. It's easy.

How do the grills come out? I'm not thrilled about yanking the stock ones out. Do you have a DIY video Nate?

Just buy them fantastic finish and great price. They even had the ones for mine with the camera

The M6 logo can be taken off, but there is a flat area on the grill that is part of the moulding, you can remove it and leave a 'clean' grill.

I ran into the same problem - I ordered the black performance grills, and then had to order the stock M6 Coupe grill, and combine the two. There is a great thread on how to do so on here - do a search.

Finished product looks great - and best of all - durability of the OEM application - you don't have to constantly repaint it, send it back to IND etc

Ha yes that is all you need to do swap out the inners. The M performance for the M6 and M5 are coming though there are part numbers
