Active Sound 640d

Apologies if this has already been covered but I've searched and can't find any mention of it...

Is it possible to retrofit this to my 2012 640d?

My father has a 2012 640d GC and it came as standard on that, yet I didn't get it on my 640d coupe?

I know some people aren't keen on the "artificial" sound, but I think it's great!

Any help appreciated...

I have it on my 2013 640d coupe - must be a year change.

There'll be a way to fit in - I'm thinking getting the module and hooking it in. Active Sound isn't in my VO, so no coding should be needed.

Check out this YouTube clip Tom, no idea how they do it but sounds awesome, would like this on my 640D.

Its called a active sound complete system which includes a active sound modual and a sound generator which sits under car there are a few company's Skytune, Maxhaust,Kufatec if you do a search on internet you will find a few company's.

he was not taking about the add on active sound unit you can buy but the one that is fitted to our car all ready, the one that feeds engine sounds in to cabin when in sports mode. This is one of the units sold that gives the 640D the sound of a V8, have a look at the web site below and you will see what i mean.
