Meisterschaft GT Video Clip

I swapped out my Eisenmann mufflers Race today with Meisterschaft GT mufflers.

Here are my thoughts on the two mufflers... They are both about the same in terms of how loud they are however Eisenmann might win due to the high pitched raspy sound it makes when the full rev 'cracks'. The Eisenmann Race has a high pitched screeching sound while the Meisterchaft has a low deep throaty growl. In my opinion the Eisenmann has a better sound as it's more exotic but in the looks department the Meisterchaft wins with the huge 102mm matte black exhaust tips.

I will be keeping the Meisterschaft on the car because the look of it with the Vorsteiner diffuser is amazing -- so aggressive! Plus don't get me wrong the Meisterschaft sounds like a damn animal on steroids trying to break out of a cage.

Totally agree -- the look that these tips give off, combined with the Vorsteiner Rear Diffuser, is unreal. I'm not biased or anything. LOL!

There isn't much drone with this exhaust. It's more of a low growling sound.

As funny as this may sound I think I am going back to the Eisenmann. I am going to take the Meistershaft matte black tips and have them put on the Eisenmann mufflers. It's going to require some work but I will be happy in the end.

That means I will probably have a stainless GT EV Controlled exhaust for sale soon which will have less than 1,000 miles on it. The valves, wiring, and switch are still new (they were not installed).

Yes, I can't ever make up my mind. Yes, someone will get a good deal on a near new exhaust.

Nice Brian. As long as you are happy. Take some pics of the rear with the new tips

Both are great sounding exhausts. I'm with you man I had a tough choice between the two but IMO, I like the Eisenmann Race better.

You are probably right. I bet it sounds terrible outside (must be the garage).

Brian,

I have the Eisenmann Race exhaust. However, just the axle-back. Will I gain any more sound (either louder or any different sounding) if I add the Eisenmann mid-pipes?

You might gain a little bit but I don't think it will be a whole lot. The cats are causing the biggest restriction. Catless would be the loudest and you might even gain some sound with the high flow cats. I can't say for sure on the high flow cats because I've never heard it in person. I did the mid-pipes when I did the catless DPs because I thought "why not just do it all". The mid-pipes will remove some of the resonating sound but I am just not sure it will get you were you are expecting to be without doing something with the OEM downpipes.
