Is it normal to change from 150 back to 112?

Anyone who's ordered an individual car, or ordered in general- is it normal for the status to change from 150 BACK to 112?

Called my CA but haven't heard back yet... Somewhat concerned- but I keep telling myself "it's going to get here...eventually" but still.

Any insight will be appreciated.

****EDIT**** found out all M6s got shut down due to tax guzzler issues. We all went back to 112, so 150s should be up again at the end of the month

Strange that they gave you the gas guzzler excuse. I was advised that frozen black paint had run out, but not to worry as they're replacing it with Jatoba Brown at no additional charge

The frozen black option is 5k! I hope that's not the reason!

Just messin with you. I really don't get why jatoba brown showed up on the color list. Maybe it'd work on the M5 but it just looks weird on a coupe

Haha man I'll just about believe anything now when it comes to this freakin order.

So much uncertainty, I can't wait until the day comes where it's officially in production so I can enjoy the process.

And I'm with you, it was a really random color. I would have rather seen an Austin yellow option for the coupe. But hey, maybe BMWNA marketing team knows something we don't?

Just was told by my CA that my car is at 150 status and went into production yesterday!!!!
To verify he sent me a screen shot of the VIN from his computer!!!

UPDATE: Called BMW NA and found out that production will be complete on 22APR15.

Time to start the clock!!!!

I wonder if because I had to submit a "special order process" application mines being held up? It's still early over here so I'll call my CA, but that's my guess.

Regardless- I'm excited for you man!!! You'll probably be the first LCI m6 over on this side of the pond so it's on you to post pics as soon as she gets here!!
