343 Forged Black - What do you use to clean?

Is there any special consideration needed when cleaning these?

I use smartwax wheel cleaner. Not much maintenance required since it's black. But brake dust do stick to the wheels. Applying the smartwax wheel cleaner helps out a lot. It makes it so much easier to clean the wheels.

Do you find that every time you wash the wheels the wax also comes off? How often do you apply the wax?

It makes it easier to remove dirt, brake dust, etc. I usually apply the wax one a month.

My last car I removed the wheels and waxes them every year. Clay every few years. The largest difference by far was switching to Akebono brake pads. They give significantly less dust, and the dust doesnt etch into the paint so it just blows off as you drive. The big cleaner on the market right now is iron x. The stuff turns blood red when it gets dirty. A lot of guys love it, but I have not tried it. Hope this helps.

I use crystal coating on the car and wheels and now no brake dust will stick to it and just use water to clean.
