Hello,
Probably not, at least very difficult to install--I say this because I recall reading about how specific speakers in the B&O system were powered by specific, dedicated amplifiers. To install the B&O system in its entirety, and locating all the hardware and wiring in addition to the speakers in nooks and crannies around the car would be easy during the car's assembly, very, very difficult once built. Sorry, no clue as to cost.

I recall it being a $9,000 option here in OZ. I have 8 B&O pieces at home but not sure it's worth the investment in a car unless you are spending a lot of time (i.e. living) in it. Harmon Kardon should be sufficient quality.

Ditto...
Save your money or put it to better use on something else. The B&O speakers look nice and compliment the car, but honestly is it worth the $3700 cost, depends on how much you like music and want the ability to fine tune it. I've had cars with both the HK and now the B&O and IMO it's not worth the $3700. As for adding it to a car that doesn't have it.... I'd imagine you'd be better off selling your car and buying one with it already installed if you want it that bad. In addition to what others have already mentioned, it also integrates with the factory iDrive system so you'd be looking at software updates as well. Just my $.02 cents...

I should add I have had both in 6 coupes.
The B&O is an excellent car stereo. I'm not sure it merits its cost. Having had both, I do not believe the price delta between the B&O and the new HK system now being installed in the model year 15 cars is not worth the extra cost for the B&O. I have not heard the standard system installed in the MY 12 cars.
